All animals that we sell are bred and born within our facility here at Trimble Waters Reptiles. We do not buy and resell animals.
Our collection of breeders is maintained on a strict schedule, and records are kept of feeding, breeding, and health. All new breeders go through a mandatory quarantine period of at least one year.
New breeding stock of boas and pythons are kept in quarantine for at least two years to prevent contamination with IBD (Inclusion Body Disease). To further protect our animals and yours, we only acquire sub-adult or juvenile boas and pythons for our breeding stock. None of our breeders, past or present, have ever tested positive for IBD.
We are committed to preserving genetic and locality purity whenever possible. Locality breeders are acquired from traceable and reputable sources only. Detailed logs document family trees so that in-breeding can be avoided.
All breeders are screened for disease and are routinely deparasitized.
Best of all, we take great pains to ensure that your animal is healthy and parasite free. All snakes in our facility are mite free. We have extremely high standards of what is acceptable and we will not ship any animals that we wouldn't be proud to keep ourselves.
